Floristics – is the creation of bouquets, panels, compositions from a variety of materials, colors (artificial, live or dried flowers).

Floristics has different directions, for example New Year’s floristicsbut when they decorate everything around the theme of the new year. In all offices, shops, shopping centers, salons put a Christmas tree – this is an obligatory attribute of the new year.

Mostly for New Year’s decoration we use cones, nuts, spruce branches, Christmas tree toys, snowman figures, Santa Claus, snow maidens, snowflakes. Mostly during this period, do Christmas trees, wreaths and compositions with candles. The decor is dominated by a red and golden color.

Many on New Year’s days buy themselves a flower in a pot called poinsettia or a Christmas star – it’s the queen of New Year’s holidays.

Wedding floristry – this is when everything is done in subtle, romantic colors, mostly white and gently pink.

A bridal bouquet or a wreath on the head is going to be gathered, an arch near which the newlyweds exchange rings and vows, a car is decorated with flowers, compositions are made on tables for guests or young. For the groom a buttonhole is made, which is fastened next to the pocket.

Business – floristics – composing of compositions for official events, for example, in the meeting room, and also for presentation.

Children’s floristry. Now many parents do not celebrate the birthday of the house in the family circle, they want something special for their children. Therefore, order tables in cafes, restaurants, decorate a beautiful and bright table for children. Multicolored cups, tubes, sweets, soft toys, caps on the head, masks, balloons. Florists are ready to provide a huge choice, it depends only on the budget of the customer.

Event floristry. Anniversary, anniversary, birth of a child, birthday, corporate, photo shoot, holidays February 14, March 8, May 9 – all this relates to event floristics. The decoration, bouquet or composition is made for a certain event in the life of a person.

Toy – floristry or plush floristics. Toy – translated from English means a toy. Bouquets are made from small soft toys. Mostly in demand are hare, teddy bears and kitty pussies. Such bouquets are very pleasing to children, adolescents, both girls and boys.

Previously, flower bouquets threw skaters on ice, now they throw bouquets of toys, because they do not deform. Still such bouquets give to stars, actors of theater, to dancers, the future mums and women at whom the kid was born.

Toys are not glued to the frame, but are attached to the wire, which means that they can be removed, then play them, sew clothing or knit, hang over a cradle or stroller or decorate them with a display case.

Sock – floristics. Recently there was such a concept – bouquets of socks. What is it? Like this? For this kind of floristry you need socks, a frame, felt and wire. The socks are twisted in a certain way together with the wire – it looks like textile flowers. You can make a bouquet of socks for a man, and you can make a bouquet of socks for a woman or a child.

Food – floristics.

The most popular are now picking bouquets of food. For example, from fruit. Fruit is fixed on skewers for shish kebab. Also make bouquets of vegetables or with the addition of pasta – it’s French dessert (cake).

Svitfloritika. In English, the word sweet means sweet. Florists make bouquets, compositions, figures, topiary, ships from sweets. Decorate with chocolate or a box of chocolates. There are such songs for a long time, and even they can be eaten.

Many florists add to the bouquets of small frames for photos, beads, soft toys and thus the gift is useful – this is a worthy alternative to flowers.

Funeral floristry.
Sooner or later a person leaves this world. And see him off on his last journey, too, with flowers. There is a separate branch of floristry called mourning. In this form of floristry, colors of iridescent colors are not used, flowers are used with dark colors, as well as white and red. Bouquets are not going to be luxuriant, but flat on the one hand, so that it is convenient to put on a flat surface.
If flowers are bought, for example roses, then only an even number and often bandaged with a black ribbon. Wreaths or crosses made of flowers are often made.

Church floristics.
In Russia, church floristics are not as developed as in other countries. Nevertheless, there are many church holidays in the year, which many people celebrate. On this day they go to church.
Colors adorn columns, arches, chandelier, flowers are laid out around the icons, a flower garland is going to. Basically decorated with flowers and twigs of pine. Sometimes satin ribbons serve as a complement.

Most often use lily flowers, chrysanthemums, roses, carnations, asters, gypsophila and various greens. Sometimes it is permissible to decorate with apples.

What color is used more often?

Most often used in the design of the temple is white. White color means tenderness, respect, purity. White color will be appropriate everywhere, it is combined with any other color.

There are not many courses in Russia that teach the art of drawing up bouquets for temples, but there are places where this art is taught. There are books on this topic and videos.

How does the flower decoration of the icon begin?

Registration begins with the fact that people who will decorate the church with flowers go to a flower base or market. Choose flowers and buy, such as roses, chrysanthemums and greens, most often for work used fern. Registration is not only for florists, but also ministers of the church without floristic education.

Then all the flowers are placed in the car and transported to the temple. Then the boxes are taken out, brought into the room and the flowers are sorted by types. Then the lower section of the stem is renewed and the flowers are put in different vases with cold water.

Oasis – a floral sponge is put in a container with water. The sponge is saturated with water and falls to the bottom – now it can be extracted. Turns it into a food film or put on a special stand with bumps, so that the excess water does not drain from it. You can also use a container (tray) made from candy and sweets.

The design is going to the size of the icon, for example in the form of the letter “P”, on each side an indent is made for 2 cm so that the icon can be freely inserted and pulled out. Then on the side parts greens are inserted. Flowers and greens are cut at an angle. On the top, roses are inserted at a distance, and then chrysanthemums between them. Fill all the emptiness with flowers.
Then this design is placed around the icon.

The next day and in others, you need to add some water to the composition, it is better to do it with a watering can with a thin spout.
